John 1:7-11

7 1He came 2 3as a witness, to testify about the Light, 4so that all might believe through him. 8 5 6He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

9 7This was 8the true Light 9that, coming into the world, enlightens every person. 10He was in the world, and 10the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not 11know Him. 11He came to His 12own, and His own people did not 13accept Him.
