New American Standard Bible 1995
John 1:7-11
71He came 23as a witness, to testify about the Light, 4so that all might believe through him. 856He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.
9There was 7the true Light 8which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10He was in the world, and 9the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11He came to His 10own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
