John 1:41-45
41He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the 1Messiah” (which translated means 2Christ). 42He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of 34John; you shall be called 5Cephas” (which is translated 67Peter).
438The next day He 9decided to go to 10Galilee, and He found 11Philip. And Jesus said to him, “12Follow Me.” 44Now 13Philip was from 14Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 4515Philip found 16Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom 17Moses wrote in the Law, and 18the prophets also wrote: Jesus 19the son of Joseph, from 20Nazareth!”
