John 1:12-17

12But 1as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 2children of God, 3to those who 4believe in His name, 13 5who were 6born, not of 7blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

14And 8the Word 9became flesh, and 10dwelt among us; and 11we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of 12grace and 13truth. 15John 14testified about Him and called out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘15He who is coming after me has proved to be 16my superior, 17because He existed before me.’” 16For of His 18fullness 19we have all received, and 20grace upon grace. 17For 21the Law was given through Moses; 22grace and 23truth 24were realized through Jesus Christ.
