John 1:12-17
12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 1children of God, even 2to those who believe in His name, 133who were 4born, not of 5blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14And 6the Word 7became flesh, and 89dwelt among us, and 10we saw His glory, glory as of 11the only begotten from the Father, full of 12grace and 13truth. 15John 14testified about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘15He who comes after me 16has a higher rank than I, 17for He existed before me.’” 16For of His 18fullness 19we have all received, and 20grace upon grace. 17For 21the Law was given through Moses; 22grace and 23truth 24were realized through Jesus Christ.
