John 1:11-16

11He came to His 1own, and His own people did not 2accept Him. 12But 3as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 4children of God, 5to those who 6believe in His name, 13 7who were 8born, not of 9blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

14And 10the Word 11became flesh, and 12dwelt among us; and 13we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of 14grace and 15truth. 15John 16testified about Him and called out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘17He who is coming after me has proved to be 18my superior, 19because He existed before me.’” 16For of His 20fullness 21we have all received, and 22grace upon grace.
