John 1:11-16
11He came to His 1own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become 2children of God, even 3to those who believe in His name, 134who were 5born, not of 6blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14And 7the Word 8became flesh, and 910dwelt among us, and 11we saw His glory, glory as of 12the only begotten from the Father, full of 13grace and 14truth. 15John 15testified about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘16He who comes after me 17has a higher rank than I, 18for He existed before me.’” 16For of His 19fullness 20we have all received, and 21grace upon grace.
