Job 16:16-21
16My face is flushed from 1weeping, 2And deep darkness is on my eyelids,17Although there is no 3violence in my hands, And 4my prayer is pure.
18“Earth, do not cover my blood, And may there be no resting place for my cry.19Even now, behold, 5my witness is in heaven, And my 6advocate is 7on high.20My friends are my scoffers; 8My eye weeps to God,21That one might plead for a man with God As a son of man with his neighbor!
