Job 16:16-21
16My face is flushed from 1weeping, 2And deep darkness is on my eyelids,17Although there is no 3violence in my hands, And 4my prayer is pure.
18“O earth, do not cover my blood, And let there be no resting place for my cry.19Even now, behold, 5my witness is in heaven, And my 6advocate is 7on high.20My friends are my scoffers; 8My eye 9weeps to God.21O that a man might plead with God As a man with his neighbor!
