Jeremiah 32:23-25

23They 1came in and took possession of it, but they 2did not obey Your voice or 3walk in Your Law; they did not do 4anything that You commanded them to do; therefore You have made 5all this disaster happen to them. 24Behold, the 6assault ramps have reached the city to take it; and the city has been 7handed over to the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the 8sword, the famine, and the plague; and what You have spoken has 9come to pass; and behold, You see it. 25Yet You have said to me, Lord 10God, “Buy for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses”--although the city has been handed over to the Chaldeans.’”
