Jeremiah 26:20-24

20Indeed, there was also a man who used to prophesy in the name of the Lord, Uriah the son of Shemaiah from 1Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land words similar to all those of Jeremiah. 21When King Jehoiakim and all his warriors and all the officials heard his words, then the 2king sought to put him to death; but Uriah heard about it, and he was afraid, so he 3fled and went to Egypt. 22Then King Jehoiakim sent men to Egypt: 4Elnathan the son of Achbor and certain men with him, to Egypt. 23And they brought Uriah from Egypt and led him to King Jehoiakim, who 5killed him with a sword and threw his dead body into the 6burial place of the 7common people.

24But the hand of 8Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was 9not handed over to the people to put him to death.
