Jeremiah 14:20-22
20We 1know our wickedness, Lord, The wrongdoing of our fathers, for 2we have sinned against You.21Do not despise us, 3for the sake of Your own name; Do not disgrace the 4throne of Your glory. Remember and do not annul Your covenant with us.22Are there any among the 56idols of the nations who 7give rain? Or can the heavens grant showers? Is it not You, Lord our God? Therefore we 8wait for You, For You are the one who has done all these things.
