James 5:13-18

13Is anyone among you 1suffering? 2Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to 3sing praises. 14Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for 4the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, 56anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15and the 7prayer of faith will 89restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will 10raise him up, and if he has committed sins, 11they will be forgiven him. 16Therefore, 12confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be 13healed. 14A 15prayer of a righteous person, when it is 16brought about, can accomplish much. 17Elijah was 17a man with a nature like ours, and 18he prayed 19earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for 20three years and six months. 18Then he 21prayed again, and 22the sky 23poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.
