James 4:5-8
5Or do you think that the Scripture 1says to no purpose, “2He 3jealously desires 4the Spirit whom He has made to dwell in us”?
6But 5He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “6God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
77Submit therefore to God. But 89resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
810Come close to God and He will come close to you. 11Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and 12purify your hearts, you 1314double-minded.
