James 1:18-21

18In the exercise of 1His will He 2gave us birth by 3the word of truth, so that we would be 4a kind of 5first fruits 6among His creatures.

1978You know this, 9my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, 10slow to speak, and 11slow to anger; 20for a man’s 12anger does not bring about the righteousness of God. 21Therefore, 13ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all 14that remains of wickedness, in 15humility receive 16the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
