James 1:1-7
112James, a 3bond-servant of God and 4of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To 5the twelve tribes who are 67dispersed abroad: 8Greetings.
29Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter 10various 11trials, 3knowing that 12the testing of your 13faith produces 1415endurance. 4And let 1617endurance have its perfect 18result, so that you may be 1920perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5But if any of you 21lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and 22without reproach, and 23it will be given to him. 6But he must 24ask in faith 25without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, 26driven and tossed by the wind. 7For that person ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
