Hosea 9:1-5

1 1Do not rejoice, Israel, 2with jubilation like the 3nations! For you have 4been unfaithful, 5abandoning your God. You have loved the earnings of unfaithfulness on 6every threshing floor.2Threshing floor and wine press will 7not feed them, And the new wine will fail 8them.3They will not remain in 9the Lord’s land, But Ephraim will return to 10Egypt, And in 11Assyria they will eat 12unclean food.4They will not pour out drink offerings of 13wine to the Lord, 14Nor will 15their sacrifices please Him. Their bread will be to them like 16mourners’ bread; All who eat it will be 17defiled, Because their bread will be for 18themselves alone; It will not enter the house of the Lord.5 19What will you do on the day of the appointed festival And on the day of the 20feast of the Lord?
