Hosea 5:1-7

1Hear this, you priests! Pay attention, house of Israel! Listen, you of the house of the king! For the judgment applies to you, Because you have been a 1trap at Mizpah, And a net spread out on Tabor.2And the 2rebels have 3gone deep in 4depravity, But I will discipline all of them.3I 5know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; Because now, Ephraim, you have been unfaithful, Israel has defiled itself.4Their deeds will not allow them To return to their God. For a 6spirit of 7infidelity is within them, And they 8do not know the Lord.5Moreover, the 9pride of Israel testifies against him, And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their wrongdoing; 10Judah also has stumbled with them.6They will 11go with their flocks and herds To seek the Lord, but they will 12not find Him; He has 13withdrawn from them.7They have 14dealt treacherously with the Lord, For they have given birth to 15 16illegitimate children. Now the 17new moon will devour them with their 18land.
