Habakkuk 1:6-10
6For behold, I am 1raising up the Chaldeans, That 2grim and impetuous people Who march 3throughout the earth, To 4take possession of dwelling places that are not theirs.7They are terrifying and 5feared; Their 6justice and 7authority 8originate with themselves.8Their 9horses are faster than leopards, And quicker than 10wolves in the evening. Their 11horsemen charge along, Their 12horsemen come from afar; They fly like an 13eagle 14swooping down to devour.9All of them come for violence. 15Their horde of 16faces moves forward. They gather captives like sand.10They 17make fun of kings, And dignitaries are an object of laughter to them. They 18laugh at every fortress, Then 19heap up dirt and 20capture it.
