Galatians 3:6-13
6Just as 1Abraham 2believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. 7Therefore, recognize that 3it is those who are of faith who are 4sons of Abraham. 8The Scripture, foreseeing that God 5would justify the 6Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “7All the nations will be blessed in you.” 9So then, 8those who are of faith are blessed with 9Abraham, the believer.
10For all who are of works of 10the Law are under a curse; for it is written: “11Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.” 11Now, that 12no one is justified 13by 14the Law before God is evident; for, “1516the righteous one will live by faith.” 1217However, the Law is not 18of faith; on the contrary, “19The person who performs 20them will live by 21them.” 13Christ 22redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--for it is written: “23Cursed is everyone who hangs on 24a 25tree”--
