Galatians 2:16-21

nevertheless, knowing that 1a person is not justified by works of 2the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by 3faith in Christ and not by works of 4the Law; since 5by works of 6the Law no 7flesh will be justified.

But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found 8sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? 910Far from it!

For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I 11prove myself to be a wrongdoer.

For through 12the Law I 13died to 14the Law, so that I might live for God.

I have been 15crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but 16Christ lives in me; and 17the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in 18the Son of God, who 19loved me and 20gave Himself up for me.

I do not nullify the grace of God, for 21if righteousness comes through 22the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
