Galatians 2:13-16

13The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even 1Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that they 2were not 3straightforward about 4the truth of the gospel, I said to 5Cephas in the presence of all, “If you, being a Jew, 6live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?7

15“We are 8Jews by nature and not 9sinners from the Gentiles; 16nevertheless, knowing that 10a person is not justified by works of 11the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by 12faith in Christ and not by works of 13the Law; since 14by works of 15the Law no 16flesh will be justified.
