Galatians 1:17-24
171nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to 2Damascus.
18Then 3three years later I went up 4to Jerusalem to 5become acquainted with 67Cephas, and stayed with him for fifteen days. 19But I did not see another one of the apostles except 89James, the Lord’s brother. 20(Now in what I am writing to you, 10I assure you 11before God that I am not lying.) 21Then 12I went into the regions of 13Syria and 14Cilicia. 22I was still unknown by 15sight to 16the churches of Judea which are 17in Christ; 23but they only kept hearing, “The man who once persecuted us is now preaching 18the faith which he once 19tried to destroy.” 24And they 20were glorifying God 21because of me.
