Galatians 1:11-17

11For 1I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is 2not 3of human invention. 12For 4I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a 5revelation of Jesus Christ.

13For you have heard of 6my former way of life in Judaism, how I 7used to persecute 8the church of God beyond measure and 9tried to destroy it; 14and I 10was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my 11countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my 12ancestral traditions. 15But when 13He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and 14called me through His grace was pleased 16to reveal His Son in me so that I might 15preach Him among the Gentiles, 16I did not immediately consult with 17 18flesh and blood, 17 19nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to 20Damascus.
