Ezekiel 16:8-12

“Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, 1you were at the time for love; so I 2spread My 3garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also 4swore an oath to you and 5entered into a covenant with you so that you 6became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

“Then I bathed you with water, washed off your blood from you, and 7anointed you with oil.

I also clothed you with 8colorfully woven cloth and put sandals of 9fine leather on your feet; and I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk.

I adorned you with jewelry, put 10bracelets on your wrists, and a 11necklace around your neck.

I also put a 12ring in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a 13beautiful crown on your head.
