Daniel 10:10-15

10Then behold, a hand 1touched me and shook me on my 2hands and knees. 11And he said to me, “3Daniel, 4you who are treasured, 5understand the words that I am about to tell you and 6stand at your place, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up 7trembling. 12Then he said to me, “8Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on 9humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come 10in response to your words. 13But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing 11in my way for twenty-one days; then behold, 12Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. 14Now I have come to 13explain to you what will happen to your people in the 1415latter days, because the vision pertains to 16the days still future.”

15When he had spoken to me according to these words, I 17turned my face toward the ground and became 18speechless.
