Amos 5:4-8
4For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel: “1Seek Me 2so that you may live.5But do not 3resort to 4Bethel And do not come to 5Gilgal, Nor cross over to 6Beersheba; For Gilgal will certainly go into captivity And Bethel will 7come to nothing.68Seek the Lord so that you may live, Or He will break through like a 9fire, 10house of Joseph, And it will consume with no one to extinguish it for Bethel,7For those who turn 11justice into wormwood, And 12throw righteousness to the earth.”
8He who made the 13Pleiades and Orion, And 14changes deep darkness into morning, 15Who also 16darkens day into night, Who 17calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the surface of the earth, The 18Lord is His name.
