Acts 6:5-7

5The 1announcement found approval with the whole 2congregation; and they chose 3Stephen, a man 4full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and 5Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and 6Nicolas, a 78proselyte from 9Antioch. 6And they brought these men before the apostles; and after 10praying, they 11laid their hands on them.

712The word of God kept spreading; and 13the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to 14the faith.
