Acts 6:5-7

5The statement found approval with the whole 1congregation; and they chose 2Stephen, a man 3full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and 4Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and 5Nicolas, a 67proselyte from 8Antioch. 6And these they brought before the apostles; and after 9praying, they 10laid their hands on them.

711The word of God kept on spreading; and 12the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to 13the faith.
