Acts 2:30-35
30So because he was 1a prophet and knew that 2God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one 3of his descendants on his throne, 31he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the 4Christ, that 5He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh 6suffer decay. 32It is this Jesus whom 7God raised up, 8a fact to which we are all 9witnesses. 33Therefore, 10since He has been exalted 1112at the right hand of God, and 13has received 14the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has 15poured out this which you both see and hear. 34For it was not David who ascended into 16heaven, but he himself says: ‘17The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,35Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
