Acts 2:30-35
30And so, because he was 1a prophet and knew that 2God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one 3of his descendants on his throne, 31he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of 4the Christ, that 5He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh 6suffer decay. 32This Jesus 7God raised up again, to which we are all 8witnesses. 33Therefore having been exalted 910to the right hand of God, and 11having received from the Father 12the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has 13poured forth this which you both see and hear. 34For it was not David who ascended into 14heaven, but he himself says: ‘15The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,35Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
