Acts 1:11-18

11and they said, “1Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who 2has been taken up from you into heaven, will 3come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

12Then they 4returned to Jerusalem from the 56mountain called 7Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a 8Sabbath day’s journey away. 13When they had entered the city, they went up to 9the upstairs room where they were staying, that is, 10Peter, John, 11James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, 12James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and 13Judas the 14son of 15James. 14All these 16were continually devoting themselves with one 17mind to prayer, along with 18the women, and Mary the 19mother of Jesus, and with His 20brothers.

1521At this time Peter stood up among 22the brothers and sisters (a group of about 120 23people was there together), and said, 16“24Brothers, 25the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, 26who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. 17For he was 27counted among us and received his share in 28this ministry.” 18(Now this man 29acquired a field with 30the price of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out.
