Thessalonians 3:6-9

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, 1in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you 2 3keep away from every brother or sister who 4leads a 5 6disorderly life and not one in accordance with 7the tradition which 8you received from us.

For you yourselves know how you ought to 9 10follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined way among you,

nor did we 11eat 12anyone’s bread 13without paying for it, but with 14labor and hardship we kept 15working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;

not because we do not have 16the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves 17as a role model for you, so that you would 18follow our example.
