2 Thessalonians 2:13-17

13 1But we should always give thanks to God for you, 2brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because 3God has chosen you 4from the beginning 5for salvation 6 7through sanctification 8by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 14It was for this He 9called you through 10our gospel, 11that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15So then, brothers and sisters, 12stand firm and 13hold on to the traditions which you were taught, whether 14by word of mouth or 15by letter 16from us.

16 17Now may our Lord Jesus Christ 18Himself and God our Father, who has 19loved us and given us eternal comfort and 20good hope by grace, 17 21comfort and 22strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
