2 Peter 3:8-11
8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, 1beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and 2a thousand years like one day. 93The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but 4is patient toward you, 5not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. 10But 6the day of the Lord 7will come like a thief, in which 8the heavens 9will pass away with a roar and the 10elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and 11the earth and 12its works will be 13discovered.
