2 Peter 2:7-16

7and if He 1rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the 2perverted conduct of 34unscrupulous people 8(for by what he saw and heard that 5righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds), 96then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from 7a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the 8day of judgment, 10and especially those who 910indulge the flesh in its corrupt passion, and 11despise 12authority.

13Reckless, 14self-centered, they 15speak abusively of angelic 16majesties without trembling, 1117whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a demeaning judgment against them before the Lord. 12But 18these, like unreasoning animals, 19born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, using abusive speech where they have no knowledge, will in 20the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed, 13suffering wrong as 21the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to 22revel in the 23daytime. They are stains and blemishes, 24reveling in their 25deceptions as they 26feast with you, 14having eyes full of adultery 27that never cease from sin, 28enticing 29unstable souls, having hearts trained in 30greed, 31accursed children; 15abandoning 32the right way, they have gone astray, having followed 33the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved 34the 35reward of unrighteousness; 16but he received a rebuke for his own offense, 36for a mute donkey, speaking with a human voice, restrained the insanity of the prophet.
