2 Peter 1:17-21

17For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a 12declaration as this was made to Him by the 3Majestic Glory: “This is 4My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”-- 18and we ourselves heard this 5declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the 6holy mountain.

19And so we have 7the prophetic word made more 8sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to 9a lamp shining in a dark place, until the 10day dawns and the 11morning star arises 12in your hearts. 20But 13know this first of all, that 14no prophecy of Scripture 15becomes a matter of 16someone’s own interpretation, 21for 17no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men 18moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
