Context of 2 Kings 10:11
9Now in the morning he went out and stood and said to all the people, “You are innocent; behold, I conspired against my master and killed him, but who killed all these? 10Know then that nothing of the word of the Lord, which the Lord spoke concerning the house of Ahab, shall fall to the earth, for the Lord has done what He spoke through His servant Elijah.” So Jehu killed all who remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, his acquaintances, and his priests, until he left him without a survivor. 12Then he set out and went to Samaria. On the way while he was at Beth-eked of the shepherds, 13Jehu encountered the relatives of Ahaziah king of Judah, and he said, “Who are you?” And they answered, “We are the relatives of Ahaziah; and we have come down to greet the sons of the king and the sons of the queen mother.”

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 11Jehu slew all - So it appears that the great men who had so obsequiously taken off the heads of Ahab's seventy sons, fell also a sacrifice to the ambition of this incomparably bad man.Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 11So Jehu slew - Rather, “And Jehu slew.” The reference is to fresh executions (compare 2 Kings 10:17).
