1 Timothy 6:6-10
61But godliness actually is a means of 2great gain when accompanied by 3contentment. 7For 4we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. 8If we 5have food and 6covering, with these we shall be content. 97But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and 8a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For 9the love of money is a root of all 10sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have 11wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many 12griefs.
