1 Thessalonians 2:10-13

10You are witnesses, and so is 1God, of 2how devoutly and rightly and blamelessly we 3behaved toward you 4believers; 11just as you know how we were 5exhorting and encouraging and 6imploring each one of you as 7a father would his own children, 12so that you would 8walk in a manner worthy of the God who 9calls you into His own kingdom and 10glory.

13For this reason we also constantly 11thank God that when you received the 12word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it 13not as the word of mere men, but as what it really is, the word of God, 14which also is at work in you who believe.
