1 Peter 5:6-11

6Therefore 1humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7having cast all your 2anxiety on Him, because He cares about you. 83Be of sober spirit, 4be on the alert. Your adversary, 5the devil, prowls around like a roaring 6lion, seeking someone to devour. 978So resist him, 9firm in your faith, knowing that 10the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your 11brothers and sisters who are in the world. 10After you have suffered 12for a little while, the 13God of all grace, who 14called you to His 15eternal glory in Christ, will Himself 16perfect, 17confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1118To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.
