1 John 5:4-8
4For 1whoever has been 2born of God 3overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
5Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who 4believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6This is the One who came 5by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not 6with the water only, but 7with the water and 8with the blood. It is 9the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7For there are 10three that testify: 811the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are 12in agreement.
