1 John 2:25-29

25 1This is the promise which He Himself 2made to us: eternal life.

26These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to 3deceive you. 27And as for you, the 4anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing 5teaches you about all things, and is 6true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, 7you remain in Him.

28Now, 8little children, remain in Him, so that when He 9appears, we may have 10confidence and 11not 12draw back from Him in shame 13at His 14coming. 29If you know that 15He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness also 16has been born of Him.
