1 John 2:14-16
14I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him 1who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are 2strong, and the 3word of God remains in you, and 4you have overcome the evil one.
15Do not love 5the world nor the things in the world. 6If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, 7the lust of the flesh and 8the lust of the eyes and 9the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
