1 Corinthians 6:13-20

131Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, however God will 2do away with both 3of them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but 4for the Lord, and 5the Lord is for the body.

14Now God has not only 6raised the Lord, but 7will also raise us up through His power.

158Do you not know that 9your bodies are parts of Christ? Shall I then take away the parts of Christ and make them parts of a prostitute? 1011Far from it!

16Or 12do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “13The two shall become one flesh.”

17But the one who joins himself to the Lord is 14one spirit with Him.

1815Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the 16sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

19Or 17do you not know that 18your body is a 19temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from 20God, and that 21you are not your own?

20For 22you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in 23your body.
