13HowH4100 shall I admonishH5749 you? To whatH4100 1shall I compareH1819 you, O daughterH1323 of JerusalemH3389? To whatH4100 shall I likenH7737 you as I comfortH5162 you, O 2virginH1330 daughterH1323 of ZionH6726? For your 3ruinH7667 is as vastH1419 as the seaH3220; WhoH4310 can 4healH7495 you?14Your 5prophetsH5030 have seenH2372 for you FalseH7723 and foolishH8602 visions; And they have not 6exposedH1540 your iniquityH5771 So as to restoreH7725 you from captivityH7622, But they have 7seenH2372 for you falseH7723 and misleadingH4065 8oraclesH4065.15AllH3605 who passH5674 alongH5674 the wayH1870 9ClapH5606 their handsH3709 in derision at you; They 10hissH8319 and shakeH5128 their headsH7218 At the daughterH1323 of JerusalemH3389, “Is thisH2088 the cityH5892 of whichH7945 they saidH559, ‘11The perfectionH3632 of beautyH3308, 12A joyH4885 to allH3605 the earthH776’?”16AllH3605 13your enemiesH340 Have openedH6475 their mouthsH6310 wide againstH5921 you; They hissH8319 and 14gnashH2786 their teethH8127. They sayH559, “We have 15swallowedH1104 her up! SurelyH389 thisH2088 is the 16dayH3117 for whichH7945 we waitedH6960; We have reachedH4672 it, we have seenH7200 it.”17The LordH3068 has 17doneH6213 whatH834 He purposedH2161; He has accomplishedH1214 His wordH565 WhichH834 He commandedH6680 from daysH3117 of oldH6924.
