Haggai 2:10-19
10On the 1twenty-fourthH6242H702 of the ninthH8671 month, in the secondH8147 yearH8141 of DariusH1867, the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 cameH1961 to HaggaiH2292 the prophetH5030, sayingH559, 11“ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, ‘2AskH7592 nowH4994 the priestsH3548 for a 3rulingH8451: 12IfH2005 a manH376 carriesH5375 4holyH6944 meatH1320 in the 5foldH3671 of his garmentH899, and touchesH5060 breadH3899 with 6this foldH3671, or cookedH5138 foodH5138, wineH3196, oilH8081, or anyH3605 other foodH3978, will it becomeH6942 holyH6942?’” And the priestsH3548 answeredH6030, “NoH3808.” 13Then HaggaiH2292 saidH559, “7IfH518 one who is uncleanH2931 from a 8corpseH5315 touchesH5060 anyH3605 of theseH428, will the latter becomeH2930 uncleanH2930?” And the priestsH3548 answeredH6030, “It will becomeH2930 uncleanH2930.” 14Then HaggaiH2292 saidH559, “‘9SoH3651 is thisH2088 peopleH5971. And soH3651 is thisH2088 nationH1471 beforeH6440 Me,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068, ‘and soH3651 is everyH3605 workH4639 of their handsH3027; and whatH834 they offerH7126 thereH8033 is uncleanH2931. 15But nowH6258, do 1011considerH7760H3824 from thisH2088 dayH3117 12onwardH4605: beforeH4480H2962 one 13stoneH68 was placedH7760 on anotherH68 in the templeH1964 of the LordH3068, 1614from that timeH1961 when one cameH935 to a grain heapH6194 of twentyH6242 measures, there would be only tenH6235; and when one cameH935 to the wineH3342 vatH3342 to drawH2834 fiftyH2572 15measuresH6333, there would be only twentyH6242. 17I smoteH5221 you and everyH3605 workH4639 of your handsH3027 with 16blastingH7711 windH7711, mildewH3420 and hailH1259; 17yet you did not come back to Me,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068. 18‘Do 1819considerH7760H3824 from thisH2088 dayH3117 20onwardH4605, from the 21twenty-fourthH6242H702 dayH3117 of the ninthH8671 month; from the dayH3117 whenH834 the templeH1964 of the LordH3068 was 22foundedH3245, 23considerH7760H3824: 19Is the seedH2233 stillH5750 in the barnH4035? EvenH5704 includingH5704 the vineH1612, the figH8384 treeH8384, the pomegranateH7416 and the oliveH2132 treeH6086, it has not borneH5375 fruit. Yet from thisH2088 dayH3117 on I will 24blessH1288 you.’”
