Esther 7:1-6
Now the kingH4428 and HamanH2001 cameH935 to drinkH8354 wine with EstherH635 the queenH4436.
And the kingH4428 saidH559 to EstherH635 on the secondH8145 dayH3117 alsoH1571 1as they drankH4960 their wineH3196 at the banquetH4960, “2WhatH4100 is your petitionH7596, QueenH4436 EstherH635? It shall be grantedH5414 you. And whatH4100 is your requestH1246? 3EvenH5704 to halfH2677 of the kingdomH4438 it shall be doneH6213.”
Then QueenH4436 EstherH635 repliedH6030, “4IfH518 I have foundH4672 favorH2580 in your sightH5869, O kingH4428, and ifH518 it pleasesH2895 the kingH4428, let my lifeH5315 be givenH5414 me as my petitionH7596, and my peopleH5971 as my requestH1246;
for 5we have been soldH4376, I and my peopleH5971, to be destroyedH8045, 6to be killedH2026 and to be annihilatedH6. Now ifH432 we had only been soldH4376 as slavesH8198H5650, men and womenH8198, I would have remainedH2790 silentH2790, for the 7troubleH6862 would not be commensurateH7737 with the 8annoyanceH5143 to the kingH4428.”
Then KingH4428 AhasuerusH325 9askedH559 QueenH4436 EstherH635, “WhoH4310 is he, and whereH335 is he, 10whoH834 would presumeH4390H3820 to doH6213 thusH3651?”
EstherH635 saidH559, “11A foeH6862 and an enemyH340 is thisH2088 wickedH7451 HamanH2001!” Then HamanH2001 became terrifiedH1204 beforeH4480H6440 the kingH4428 and queenH4436.
