Romans 1:16-23
16For I am not 1ashamed of the gospel, for 2it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the 3Jew first and also to 4the Greek. 17For in it 5the righteousness of God is revealed 6from faith to faith; as it is written, “78But the righteous man shall live by faith.”
18For 9the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who 10suppress the truth 11in unrighteousness, 19because 12that which is known about God is evident 13within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For 14since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, 15being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not 16honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became 17futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 2218Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and 19exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and 20crawling creatures.
