False Prophets Ashamed

1“In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117afountainמָק֣וֹרma.KorH4726will be openedנִפְתָּ֔חnif.TachH6605for the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of Davidדָּוִ֖ידda.VidH1732and for the inhabitantsוּלְיֹשְׁבֵ֣יu.le.yo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389, forsinלְחַטַּ֖אתle.cha.TatH2403and forimpurityוּלְנִדָּֽה׃u.le.ni.DahH5079.

2“It will comeוְהָיָה֩ve.ha.YahH1961about in that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117,”declaresנְאֻ֣ם׀ne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “that I willcutאַכְרִ֞ית'akh.RitH3772offH3772the namesשְׁמ֤וֹתshe.MotH8034of the idolsהָֽעֲצַבִּים֙ha.'a.tza.BimH6091from the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and they will noוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808longerע֑וֹדodH5750be rememberedיִזָּכְר֖וּyi.za.khe.RuH2142;and I will alsoוְגַ֧םve.GamH1571removeאַעֲבִ֥יר'a.'a.VirH5674theprophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֛יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030and theuncleanהַטֻּמְאָ֖הha.tum.'AhH2932spiritר֥וּחַRu.achH7307from the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

3And ifH3588anyoneאִישׁ֮'ishH376stillעוֹד֒'OdH5750prophesiesיִנָּבֵ֣אyi.na.Ve'H5012,then his fatherאָבִ֨יו'a.VivH1and motherוְאִמּ֤וֹve.'i.MoH517who gaveH3205birthH3205to him will sayוְאָמְר֣וּve.'a.me.RuH559to him, ‘You shallnot liveתִֽחְיֶ֔הtich.YehH2421,for you have spokenדִּבַּ֖רְתָּdi.Bar.taH1696falselyשֶׁ֥קֶרShe.kerH8267in the nameבְּשֵׁ֣םbe.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068’; and hisfatherאָבִ֧יהוּ'a.Vi.huH1and motherוְאִמּ֛וֹve.'i.MoH517who gaveH3205birthH3205to him will pierceוּדְקָרֻ֜הוּu.de.ka.Ru.huH1856him throughH1856when he prophesiesבְּהִנָּבְאֽוֹ׃be.hi.na.ve.'OH5012.

4Also it will comeוְהָיָ֣ה׀ve.ha.YahH1961about in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117that the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֛יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030will eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376beashamedיֵבֹ֧שׁוּye.Vo.shuH954of his visionמֵחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹme.chez.yo.NoH2384when he prophesiesבְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹbe.hi.na.ve.'o.ToH5012,and they will not putיִלְבְּשׁ֛וּyil.be.ShuH3847on ahairyשֵׂעָ֖רse.'ArH8181robeאַדֶּ֥רֶת'a.De.retH155in orderלְמַ֥עַןle.Ma.'anH4616to deceiveכַּחֵֽשׁ׃ka.CheshH3584;

5but he will sayוְאָמַ֕רve.'a.MarH559, ‘I amnot a prophetנָבִ֖יאna.Vi'H5030;I am a tillerאִישׁ־ עֹבֵ֤ד'ish- 'o.VedH376 H5647of the groundאֲדָמָה֙'a.da.MahH127,for a manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120soldהִקְנַ֥נִיhik.Na.niH7069me as a slave in my youthמִנְּעוּרָֽי׃mi.ne.'u.RaiH5271.’

6And one will sayוְאָמַ֣רve.'a.MarH559to him, ‘Whatמָ֧הmahH4100are theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428woundsהַמַּכּ֛וֹתha.ma.KotH4347betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996yourarmsיָדֶ֑יךָya.Dei.khaH3027?’Then he will sayוְאָמַ֕רve.'a.MarH559, ‘Thosewith whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I was woundedהֻכֵּ֖יתִיhu.Kei.tiH5221in the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004ofmy friendsמְאַהֲבָֽי׃ סme.'a.ha.VaiH157.’

7“Awakeעוּרִ֤י'u.RiH5782, Oswordחֶ֗רֶבChe.revH2719,againstעַל־'al-H5921MyShepherdרֹעִי֙ro.'IH7462,And againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the manגֶּ֣בֶרGe.verH1397, MyAssociateעֲמִיתִ֔י'a.mi.TiH5997,”Declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635. “Strikeהַ֤ךְhakhH5221the Shepherdהָֽרֹעֶה֙ha.ro.'EhH7462that the sheepהַצֹּ֔אןha.TzonH6629may be scatteredוּתְפוּצֶ֣יןָu.te.fu.Tzei.naH6327; And I willturnוַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥יva.ha.shi.vo.TiH7725My handיָדִ֖יya.DiH3027againstעַל־'al-H5921the littleהַצֹּעֲרִֽים׃ha.tzo.'a.RimH6819ones.

8It will comeוְהָיָ֤הve.ha.YahH1961about in allבְכָל־ve.khol-H3605the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776,”Declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “Thattwoשְׁנַ֣יִםshe.Na.yimH8147partsפִּֽי־pi-H6310in it will be cutיִכָּרְת֖וּyi.ka.re.TuH3772offH3772andperishיִגְוָ֑עוּyig.Va.'uH1478;But the thirdוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖יתve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992will be leftיִוָּ֥תֶרyi.Va.terH3498in it.

9And I will bringוְהֵבֵאתִ֤יve.he.ve.TiH935the thirdהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ha.she.li.ShitH7992partH7992through thefireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784,Refineוּצְרַפְתִּים֙u.tze.raf.TimH6884them as silverהַכֶּ֔סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701is refinedכִּצְרֹ֣ףkitz.RofH6884,And testוּבְחַנְתִּ֖יםu.ve.chan.TimH974them as goldהַזָּהָ֑בha.za.HavH2091is testedכִּבְחֹ֣ןkiv.ChonH974. They willcallיִקְרָ֣אyik.Ra'H7121on My nameבִשְׁמִ֗יvish.MiH8034, And I willanswerאֶעֱנֶ֣ה'e.'e.NehH6030them;I will sayאָמַ֙רְתִּי֙'a.Mar.tiH559, ‘They areMy peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971,’And they will sayיֹאמַ֖רyo.MarH559, ‘The Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068is my Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃ ס'e.lo.HaiH430.’”
